Popular Nigerian photographer and biker, Orowole Samuel Kolapoz, widely known as Kola Onifoto, has died following a lone motorcycle accident in Lagos.
Kolapoz, who was known for his vibrant photography, travel adventures, and passion for biking, reportedly embarked on a solo ride on Sunday. According to reports, the accident occurred during the journey. Hours before the crash, he had shared a post on social media announcing that he was heading to Akure on his motorcycle, expressing excitement about the trip.
After the incident, he was rushed to a nearby emergency unit operated by the Federal Road Safety Corps at Ojota. He was later transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital for advanced medical treatment. Despite efforts by medical personnel to save him, he sadly succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Monday.
