Scott Iguma to be arraigned in court today — Lagos Police

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed that Scott Iguma, a Nigerian activist, is set to be arraigned in court today following his recent arrest.

In a WhatsApp message, the PRO stated: “Scott Iguma will be arraigned on a 10-count charge at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, this morning, July 17, 2025.”

Mr. Iguma had previously taken to Instagram to accuse real estate company PWAN of issuing “receipts to customers instead of actual plots of land.”

In a later Instagram update on Wednesday, he alleged that “the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Panti, Yaba,” was being influenced by PWAN’s founder, Augustine Onwumere, to facilitate his arrest.
