Candidates who have previously submitted complaints through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s online support platform can now check the progress of their cases without opening another ticket.
The board explained the process in an instructional video released on Thursday as part of its “JAMB Explained” series.
JAMB advised candidates with unresolved complaints to use their existing ticket details when checking for updates rather than submitting a fresh complaint.
To begin, candidates are required to visit support.jamb.gov.ng and access the support section of the platform.
Those accessing the website from a mobile device should open the menu and select “Ticket/Support”. They are then expected to click on “Access Existing Ticket”.
The next stage requires candidates to provide the email address associated with their JAMB e-Facility account.
They must also enter any valid ticket ID in the designated space before submitting the information.
According to the board, once the details have been submitted successfully, the candidate’s existing support ticket will be displayed.
Candidates can then select the ticket ID, which appears in blue, to open the complaint and check its details or status.
The process involves five main steps:
- Go to support.jamb.gov.ng.
- Select “Ticket/Support” from the menu if using a mobile device.
- Click on “Access Existing Ticket”.
- Provide the email linked to the JAMB e-Facility account and a ticket ID.
- Submit the information and click the ticket ID displayed in blue to view the ticket.
JAMB said the guide was released to help candidates easily follow up on complaints already submitted through its support platform.
