Tinubu assigns Portfolios to five NCDC executive directors

President Bola Tinubu has approved portfolios for five executive directors on the board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).

The Director of Information and Public Relations at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, announced the appointments in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.

The portfolios are as follows:

  • Hajiya Biliquis Jumoke – Administration and Human Resources

  • Mrs Aisha Rufai Ibrahim – Commercial and Industrial Development

  • Mr James Abel Uloko – Corporate Services

  • Prof Muhammad Bashar – Finance

  • Atika Ajanah – Projects

Tinubu urged the executive directors to collaborate with the governing board to promote and coordinate sustainable development across the North-Central geopolitical zone.

He also recently approved the commencement of appointments for five new Permanent Secretaries. Two posts became vacant following the retirement of Permanent Secretaries from Imo State and the Federal Capital Territory, while three zonal positions—North-Central, North-East and South-East—arose from the creation of new ministries.
