President Bola Tinubu is presiding over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the State House in Abuja, marking the council’s first session in more than two months.
Before the meeting began, the President swore in two new Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
The newly inaugurated commissioners are Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar, representing Kaduna State. Both took the oath of office at the Council Chamber.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, said the agenda also includes the swearing-in of newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, cabinet ministers and other senior government officials are attending the meeting.
