President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja on Monday for an official state visit to Turkey.
In a statement released on Sunday, presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga said the “visit is aimed at strengthening the existing cordial relations between the two countries and exploring further areas of cooperation in security, education, social development, innovation, and aviation”.
Onanuga disclosed that key discussions during the trip would focus on finance, communications, trade, and investment.
He further revealed that both nations are expected to sign several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) covering scientific research, energy, technical collaboration, media and communications, military cooperation, and protocol.
