President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu are among prominent dignitaries expected to attend the 90th birthday celebration of elder statesman and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi.
The celebration, scheduled to hold in Lagos, is expected to draw political, religious and community leaders from across the country.
According to a statement by the Secretary of the Planning Committee, Seyi Bamigbade, President Tinubu and the First Lady will attend the event as distinguished special guests of honour.
Sanwo-Olu will serve as the chief host, while Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire will chair the Central Planning Committee.
Bamigbade also disclosed that Olusi will be installed as Baba Adinni of Yoruba land by the Yoruba Land Council of Islamic Preachers, led by its National Ameer, Sheikh Taofeeq Akeugbagold, on Saturday, October 3.
The activities will commence with the Prince Dr. Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi Annual Leadership Symposium and Scholarship Awards, alongside the official launch of the academy.
A special prayer and thanksgiving service is also scheduled for Friday, October 9, at the Lagos Central Mosque.
The birthday festivities will conclude with the Pa Olusi Grand Reception Party.
