[TRENDING VIDEO] “Enough of this gentle man” — Isaac Fayose reacts to Peter Obi’s Benue ordeal

Disappointment has trailed the reported disruption of Peter Obi’s visit to Benue State, with Isaac Fayose questioning why the former Anambra State governor was prevented from proceeding with his visit.

Reacting to the incident, Fayose said he was particularly disappointed that a Reverend Father reportedly told Obi that he could not proceed, after which the former governor left Benue and travelled to Plateau State.

He questioned whether such treatment was how Nigerians intended to respond to the Federal Government, adding, “God forbid.”

Fayose also reacted to reports of thugs allegedly blocking Obi’s convoy, saying that if thugs were brought against Obi, then it could become “thug for thug.”

He said he was saddened by the development, arguing that those behind such actions would continue because they know Obi is a gentle man and may not respond in the same manner.

According to him, Obi’s supporters are becoming increasingly angry over the situation.

He warned that if the alleged treatment continued until January, those involved should be prepared to face the same tactics they were allegedly using against Obi.

“Enough of this gentle man,” Fayose said, insisting that the time had come for “power for power” and “wahala for wahala.”

He added, “They are lucky I’m not in Benue State.”
