An angry elderly Nigerian man has criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the reported distribution of luxury SUVs to party members, expressing frustration over the growing hardship and hunger facing ordinary Nigerians.
In a video circulating on social media, the visibly angry man lamented that he had not eaten since morning, questioning why politicians were reportedly sharing expensive vehicles while many citizens struggle to afford food.
He claimed that the APC was distributing more than eight SUVs, each reportedly worth ₦180 million, and alleged that the vehicles were provided by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
Expressing his anger, the elderly man questioned the source of the money used to acquire the vehicles, arguing that such spending was insensitive at a time when many Nigerians are battling poverty and economic hardship.
“I haven’t eaten since morning, yet APC is distributing over eight SUVs reportedly worth ₦180 million each. They say Remi Tinubu gave them the vehicles. Where did she get the money, while ordinary Nigerians are going hungry?” he lamented.
His outburst has drawn attention to the growing frustration among Nigerians over political extravagance, rising living costs and the difficulty many households face in meeting their basic needs.
The claims about the number, value and source of the vehicles have, however, not been independently verified.
