Social media has been buzzing following the arrest of a woman identified as Deborah Sylvia alongside seven suspected armed robbers.
Speaking during a police interrogation, Sylvia clarified that she never actively participated in any robbery operations with the gang, though she confessed to knowing her boyfriend was an armed robber.
According to her account, her current partner reached out after a period of separation and invited her over with her son, during which he handed her a mobile phone that turned out to be stolen property. Sylvia offered conflicting statements about when she realized the device was stolen, initially claiming she found out later before stating she only became aware upon her arrest.
She further disclosed that her previous boyfriend is currently serving time in prison for armed robbery, yet she went on to date another man fully aware of his criminal activities. Despite knowing his line of work, she never reported him to law enforcement, though she maintained that she never assisted in modifying the phone’s IMEI number or aiding their crimes.
Her extraordinary disclosures have generated widespread disbelief and reactions across online platforms.
