A suspected robbery incident has been captured on camera and subsequently circulated widely across social media platforms, including Instagram.
The footage reportedly shows the moment the incident occurred within the Abule Egba area of Lagos State.
The video, which has been shared by several local update platforms, including 99Pluz and Ozoroblog, has renewed concerns about security in the area.
While the police have not issued an official statement specifically addressing the video, the Abule Egba corridor and surrounding areas have previously recorded various criminal activities.
Motorists have repeatedly identified Abule Egba, alongside areas such as Orile, Ojota and Ipaja, as locations where traffic robbery incidents have been reported.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), have also previously intercepted suspected commercial bus robbery syndicates operating around the Abule Egba Jubilee Bridge.
The latest video has continued to attract attention online, although details surrounding the incident remain limited pending an official account from the police.
