The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Mr. Michael Ango.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Friday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
The statement added that the highest-ranking official within the FCT-IRS has been instructed to assume leadership of the agency immediately in an acting role.
No official reason was disclosed for Ango’s removal as announced by the minister’s aide
