Hosts and title holders, Senegal, and Mozambique are through to the finals of the 2021 CAF Beach Soccer African Nations Cup (AFCON), going on in Saly, Senegal.
In their semi-final matches on Friday, Senegal edged Morocco 3-2 while Mozambique defeated Uganda 6-3. Both semi-final losers will meet on Saturday for the third-place play off, and Senegal and Mozambique will now meet in the final match, also on Saturday.
In the match to determine the fifth- and sixth-placed teams, Egypt defeated Tanzania 4-2 on Thursday. This means that Egypt ended fifth in the tournament while Tanzania placed sixth.
