Former Arsenal and Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed a move to newly promoted La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna from Marseille, signing a contract that will keep him at the Spanish club until 2028.
The 37-year-old departs Marseille with one year left on his contract after making 92 appearances and scoring 44 goals across two spells with the Ligue 1 club.
Aubameyang first joined Marseille in 2023 before spending a season with Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah, returning to the French club in 2025.
In a statement announcing the signing, Deportivo La Coruna described the veteran forward’s career as one that has shown “exceptional consistency at the highest level.”
Aubameyang has previously featured for Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona, where he scored 13 goals in 24 appearances during a six-month spell.
The move comes as Deportivo prepare for their return to La Liga after spending eight seasons outside Spain’s top flight.
