Ferran Torres netted the decisive goal on Sunday as Spain edged 10-man Argentina 1-0 after extra time to secure their second World Cup title.

Extra time unfolded in much the same way, with Spain patiently searching for an opening while Argentina sat deep in defence.
The winning moment arrived early in the second period of extra time as substitute Torres calmly finished after a superb knock-back from Nico Williams.
Under Luis de la Fuente, Spain allowed only one goal in seven matches en route to the final, overwhelming opponents with their polished possession-based style.
