Cole Palmer hit Premier League history after hat-trick

Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has etched his name into Premier League history by becoming the first player to register three hat-tricks scored entirely in the first half of matches in the competition.

According to information released on Chelsea’s official website on Saturday, Palmer reached the milestone during the Blues’ 3–1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. He netted all three goals before halftime, giving Chelsea a commanding advantage.

The England international had earlier recorded first-half hat-tricks against Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion, making him the only player in Premier League history to achieve the feat on three different occasions.

“With this feat, Palmer is now the only player in Premier League history to score three hat-tricks in the first half of a match (the others coming against Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion).

“It also ensured he further added his name to the Chelsea and Premier League – record books,” Chelsea said.

The latest three-goal haul further emphasizes Palmer’s increasing importance to Chelsea and reinforces his status as one of the league’s most clinical attacking talents.

His goals against Wolves also played a key role in extending Chelsea’s strong run of results in the Premier League.

Palmer’s record-breaking performance adds to an already remarkable collection of achievements since joining Stamford Bridge and underlines his growing influence in both Chelsea and Premier League history.
