EPL: PFA Player of the Year nominees announced [Full List]

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has unveiled the nominees for its Men’s and Women’s Player of the Year awards, with Premier League stars dominating the shortlist.

Fresh from helping Arsenal clinch the league title, Gabriel Magalhães, David Raya and Declan Rice have all been nominated for the Men’s Player of the Year prize.

The Arsenal trio will compete against Rayan Cherki, Erling Haaland and Bruno Fernandes for the prestigious award.

In the women’s category, defending champion Bunny Shaw is aiming to retain her crown. She is joined on the shortlist by teammate Yui Hasegawa, Lauren James, Alessia Russo, Kirsty Hanson and Jess Park.

The PFA also announced the contenders for the Men’s Young Player of the Year award, with Cherki earning a second nomination.

Joining him on the shortlist are Max Dowman, Junior Kroupi, Kobbie Mainoo, Rio Ngumoha and Nico O’Reilly.

The nominations highlight Arsenal’s strong domestic campaign, while Manchester City also boasts significant representation across the senior and young player categories.
