Four Nigerian music stars have been selected to feature on the official soundtrack of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Davido, Burna Boy, Rema and Ayra Starr were announced by FIFA Sound as contributors to the tournament’s album, scheduled for release on June 5.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
FIFA confirmed the lineup in a post on X, saying fans can pre-save the album ahead of release.
“The squad for the Official #FIFAWorldCup 2026™ Album is here! Pre-save for the album release on June 5. Stay tuned for more to come”, the organisation wrote.
The project will be distributed by FIFA Sound and Universal Music on major streaming platforms and in physical format.

The 2026 World Cup runs June 11 to July 19. It will be the first with 48 teams, featuring 104 matches across 39 days.
