Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released his squad lists for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying fixtures against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, as well as an international friendly against Russia.
Nigeria will play Madagascar on September 25 before facing Guinea-Bissau on September 29. The Super Eagles are also scheduled to take on Russia in a friendly on October 6.
Ola Aina returns to the squad after missing Nigeria’s recent international fixtures, while Benjamin Fredricks is also back following his recovery from injury.
Young forward George Ilenikhena has earned a call-up, while LASK attacker Moses Usor receives his first invitation to the senior national team.
Ajax forward Tolu Arokodare and Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali also return to the squad.
Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali and Samuel Chukwueze are among the key players selected for the AFCON qualifiers.
