Turkish champions Galatasaray have agreed a deal worth just under €30 million with Burnley to sign Super Eagles-eligible midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed the development on Sunday, revealing that the 22-year-old is expected to complete his move to the Turkish club soon.
“Here we go, confirmed: Lesley Ugochukwu will sign his contract at Galatasaray shortly.
“Deal worth under €30m package from Burnley for the midfielder,” Romano wrote on X.
Ugochukwu enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 Premier League campaign with Burnley despite the club’s relegation to the Championship.
The midfielder featured in 35 league matches, scoring three goals and registering two assists.
Once the transfer is completed, the Nigerian-born midfielder is expected to link up with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen at the Turkish club.
