Harry Kane has matched Bayern Munich’s club record after finding the net in his seventh consecutive DFB-Pokal appearance.
The England captain scored twice in Bayern’s first-round clash with VfL Osnabrück, extending his impressive scoring run in Germany’s domestic cup competition to seven straight matches.
Kane’s latest goals mean he has now equalled the Bayern record for scoring in seven consecutive DFB-Pokal games.
Only Gerd Müller and Thomas Müller had previously achieved the feat for the German giants. Gerd Müller recorded his seven-game scoring run between 1967 and 1968, while Thomas Müller achieved the same milestone between 2013 and 2014.
Kane’s latest achievement further highlights his strong scoring form since moving to Bayern Munich.
