Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa has responded to growing speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappé’s knee condition, dismissing the reports as “absolutely false information.”
In recent days, rumours have suggested that the French forward is dealing with a knee issue that could potentially impact his performances.
However, Arbeloa rejected those claims, insisting they are misleading and urging that attention should remain on Mbappé’s performances on the pitch.
According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, Arbeloa said, “What Kylian has said these days… it is absolutely false information,” stressing that the reports do not reflect the true situation.
The former Real Madrid defender further noted that Mbappé should move past any talk about injury concerns and stay focused on his objectives, highlighting the need for both physical and mental sharpness at the highest level.
Arbeloa’s remarks come as Mbappé continues to play a key role for Real Madrid and the French national team, with important domestic and international fixtures ahead.
He also provided an update on Jude Bellingham, explaining that the midfielder has had limited minutes recently. He described Bellingham’s situation as “a little particular,” noting that he only played briefly against Atlético Madrid as manager Thomas Tuchel opted to avoid unnecessary risks.
“Jude is smart enough to have done good training sessions. And he’s ready to help tomorrow,” he said.
