Nineteen clubs, including Manchester United, have already secured places in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase, according to PUNCH Online.
Manchester United confirmed their return to Europe’s top competition after beating Liverpool 3–2 at Old Trafford earlier in the month. That result ensured a top-five finish in the Premier League, placing them alongside Arsenal and Manchester City, with more English teams still likely to qualify.
With most major European leagues expected to finish in the coming weeks before the FIFA World Cup, 19 of the 36 teams for the league phase have now been confirmed, based on UEFA’s updated access list released on Tuesday.
Confirmed teams so far include:
Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, FC Porto, Feyenoord, Galatasaray, Inter Milan, Lens, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig, Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Villarreal, and Slavia.
Qualification breakdown by country:
England:
The Premier League has five qualification spots. Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United are already confirmed. Liverpool and Aston Villa remain strong contenders, with additional scenarios still possible depending on Europa League outcomes. Bournemouth are currently ahead of Brighton in the race for a possible final spot.
Spain:
Barcelona have already secured the La Liga title with a 2–0 win over Real Madrid. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Villarreal, and Atletico Madrid have all qualified. The final spot is still open, with Real Betis leading but Celta Vigo still in contention.

Paris Saint-Germain are close to another league title and have already qualified, alongside Lens. Lille, Lyon, and Rennes are competing for remaining places.
Netherlands:
PSV Eindhoven are champions, with Feyenoord also qualified. Twente, NEC Nijmegen, and Ajax are competing for the final spot.

Ukraine:
Shakhtar Donetsk have been placed directly into the league phase due to UEFA adjustments linked to the 2026 final participants.
