Manchester United defender Dorgu ruled out for 10 weeks

Manchester United defender Patrick Dorgu has been sidelined for about 10 weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury.

According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on X on Tuesday, reports from football journalist Laurie Whitwell revealed that the injury will keep the defender out of action for an extended period, forcing him to miss several important matches.

The severity of the injury means Dorgu will undergo rehabilitation before returning to full training, with Manchester United’s medical team set to closely monitor his recovery to avoid any complications.

Whitwell stated, “Patrick Dorgu will be out for 10 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.”

The defender’s absence is expected to be a setback for the club, considering his recent performances and increasing importance in the squad.

Dorgu had played a key role in United’s 3–2 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, scoring in consecutive matches for the Red Devils before picking up the injury.
