Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has signed a two-year contract with Saudi Women’s League side Al Hilal after leaving Bay FC in the National Women’s Soccer League.
The 30-year-old completed her medical on Monday night before joining her new club, marking the latest chapter in her decorated career.
Oshoala joined Bay FC in February 2024 after a successful spell with Barcelona Femeni but struggled to fully adapt to the NWSL. Head coach Albertin Montoya admitted her limited minutes this season were due to her adjustment to the league’s style and defensive demands.
She made 25 league appearances last season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist, and registered eight goals in 38 games overall.
The six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year has previously played in Europe, Asia, and the USA, and remains a key figure in the Super Falcons squad that won a record 10th WAFCON title in Morocco.
