Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.
Turkish football club Galatasaray announced the birth on Thursday through its official social media platforms.
In a post shared on its X account on Friday, the Turkish Süper Lig champions congratulated the couple and wished their newborn daughter a healthy and happy life.
“Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world.
“We congratulate the couple Victor and Stefanie; we wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life!” the club wrote.
The arrival marks the couple’s second child together. They are already parents to a daughter, Hailey.
The 27-year-old Nigerian international has been in impressive form for Galatasaray this season, continuing his role as one of the club’s key attacking players.
The birth comes shortly after reports that Ladewig was involved in a minor road accident in Istanbul earlier this month while pregnant. She was reportedly unhurt in the incident.
Osimhen is expected to rejoin his teammates ahead of Galatasaray’s upcoming Turkish Süper Lig fixture against Konyaspor.
The announcement has attracted congratulatory messages from football fans and supporters in Nigeria and Turkey as the Osimhen family celebrates the new addition.
