Paris Saint-Germain reclaimed top spot in Ligue 1 with a commanding 3–0 win over FC Metz at the Parc des Princes.
Goals from Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos secured the victory for Luis Enrique’s side, who now sit two points clear of RC Lens following their defeat to AS Monaco earlier on Saturday.
PSG struck early, taking the lead in just the third minute. Warren Zaire-Emery lofted a precise ball over the defence, allowing Doue to race through and finish calmly past goalkeeper Jonathan Fischer.
The hosts remained in control, and Metz briefly feared going down to 10 men when Jean-Philippe Gbamin was initially sent off for a late challenge on Ramos, only for VAR to downgrade the decision to a yellow card.
PSG doubled their advantage in first-half stoppage time. Fischer parried Lucas Hernandez’s flick from a corner, but Ramos reacted quickly to square the ball for Barcola to head into an empty net.
Ramos sealed the win in the 77th minute, smashing home from the left side of the box after being picked out again by Hernandez. Zaire-Emery nearly added a fourth late on, but Fischer reacted sharply to smother his low effort.
Data debrief: PSG dominant at home
Following a 3–1 defeat away to Stade Rennais, PSG responded emphatically on home soil, earning a seventh straight league victory at the Parc des Princes — their best such run under Luis Enrique.
Zaire-Emery delivered another standout display, recording his third Ligue 1 assist of 2026. The teenager also led the match in touches (115), passes (98), accurate passes (93), and won eight duels — more than any other player.
PSG controlled proceedings throughout, generating 2.13 expected goals from 17 shots, while Metz managed just three off-target attempts worth 0.08 xG.
