Cristiano Ronaldo has finally lifted the Saudi Pro League title with Al-Nassr after the club secured a 4-2 victory over relegation-threatened Damac on Thursday.
The championship race went down to the final day following Al-Nassr’s costly dropped points against Al-Hilal in the previous week.
Knowing there was no room for error, Jorge Jesus’ side delivered a strong performance against a Damac team battling to avoid relegation.
Ronaldo played a key role in the triumph, scoring twice as Al-Nassr finished ahead of rivals Al-Hilal to clinch the league crown.
Sadio Mane gave Al-Nassr the lead in the first half, while second-half strikes from Kingsley Coman and Ronaldo’s brace completed the win.
