Super Eagles Winger Henry Onyekuru Joins Gençlerbirliği on Two-Year Deal

Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru has completed a permanent move to Turkish Super Lig side Gençlerbirliği, signing a two-year contract with the Red and Black.

The 28-year-old joins as a free agent after parting ways with Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha last month, where he scored 10 goals in 29 appearances.

This marks Onyekuru’s third stint in Turkish football, having previously featured for Galatasaray where he won the Super Lig and Turkish Cup double in the 2018/19 season and Adana Demirspor.

The winger, who began his football journey at Qatar’s ASPIRE Academy, has also played for KAS Eupen, Everton, Anderlecht, AS Monaco, and Olympiacos.
