Uganda, Nigeria’s Group C opponent at AFCON 2025, is set to face hosts Morocco in a friendly match as part of their tournament preparations.
The fixture was confirmed on the official X account of the Moroccan national football team.
The match will take place on November 18 at the Grand Stadium in Tangier.
The Cranes of Uganda are using the friendly as a warm-up ahead of the AFCON 2025, which kicks off in December.
In addition to facing the Super Eagles, Uganda will also play Tunisia, the 2004 AFCON champions, and Tanzania in the group stage.
The Super Eagles will meet Uganda in their final Group C fixture on December 30.
This encounter will mark the second-ever AFCON meeting between both nations. Their first clash occurred in the 1978 semi-final, where Uganda defeated Nigeria 2-1 before eventually losing to hosts Ghana in the final.
