Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has signed a new three-year contract with Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

The fresh deal will keep the 28-year-old at the City Ground until 2028.

Aina was one of Forest’s standout players during the 2024/25 season, contributing two goals and one assist in 35 league appearances.

Forest ended the season in seventh place, securing a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League for the upcoming campaign.

Despite interest from top clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City, Aina opted to extend his stay with the Tricky Trees.

He initially joined Forest on a free transfer in July 2023 following his departure from Serie A side Torino.

Since then, he has made 59 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
