Veteran Nollywood actor Tom Njemanze has passed away at the age of 75. It was gathered that he died on Friday after battling prostate cancer.
Njemanze rose to prominence in the 1990s and became widely known for his commanding roles in several iconic films, including Tokunboh, Pounds and Dollars, Atosa, Issakaba, Osuofia in London, Brain Box, and Igbotic Love.
Known for his depth of performance, Njemanze remains a cherished figure in Nigerian cinematic history.

Newsclick recalls that in a video shared via his Instagram page, filmmaker Stanley Ontop had earlier disclosed that Njemanze was diagnosed with prostate cancer and needed financial assistance for urgent surgery.
