Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has alleged that several of his colleagues in the music industry are envious of his success.
Odumodublvck maintained that the claim suggesting he lacks lyrical talent is fueled by envy.
He stressed that, despite assertions that he is less talented than many of his peers, he has attained greater international recognition than any other Nigerian rapper.
The “Pity This Boy” hitmaker claimed that some of his colleagues are envious of him because he is both a rapper and a singer.
Speaking in a recent interview, Odumodublvck said, “In Nigeria, they say that my rap is not good but I’m the most featured rapper by international artists. I think it’s a thing of envy because I sing my hooks, my songs are hits and I get more bookings than them”
“The envy is deep especially when they think they are better. But we pay no mind to that. We just continue pushing for those that believe -let them continue to tune in. It’s very unfortunate for the people on the other side because this thing is not going to stop soon.”
He challenged his colleagues who believe they are better than him to prove it by selling more records and filling more shows.
