Over 100 suspects, including the owner of the club, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, alias Pretty Mike, were arrested and taken into custody for screening,” the statement read.

The operation reportedly began around 11 p.m. on Saturday when NDLEA personnel infiltrated the venue undercover before disrupting the gathering around 3 a.m.

Confirming his arrest, Tuoyo Ideh lamented the incident on his Instagram page, stating that he and others were detained at the NDLEA headquarters in Ikoyi despite not engaging in any illegal acts.

“They made us sit down like criminals… we are over 150 people here up till now. We didn’t commit any crime; they came with guns inside the club and told everyone to lie down,” he wrote.

Efforts by journalists to reach Pretty Mike for comments were unsuccessful as calls and messages went unanswered.
