The Department of State Services (DSS) has re-arrested Abdulazeez Obadaki, a suspected terrorist who had been on the wanted list.
Obadaki was reportedly among the inmates who fled during the Kuje prison attack in the Federal Capital Territory in July 2022.

It will be recalled that the assault on the facility led to the escape of over 800 prisoners, including several Boko Haram suspects being held there.
Obadaki is also reported to have masterminded attacks on banks in Uromi, Edo State, and a fatal shooting at Deeper Life College, Okene, in Kogi State, both in 2022.
