Lagos govt postpones rehabilitation of Lekki–Ajah road corridor

The Lagos State Government announced on Tuesday that the rehabilitation project on the Lekki–Ajah corridor, which was slated to begin on Saturday, November 15, 2025, has been postponed.

In a statement, the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, explained that a new start date will be announced later.

He noted that although preliminary preparations will continue until the end of the month, the full rehabilitation work will not commence until the revised schedule is officially released.

“The state government appreciates the understanding and patience of all road users as it remains committed to improving road infrastructure and ensuring safer, more efficient transportation for all.”
