Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß has confirmed that Harry Kane has a release clause in effect “until the end of January” but emphasized that the club expects the striker to stay “until at least 2027.”

Since joining Bayern in 2023, Kane has been in outstanding form, dazzling the Bundesliga and helping the team secure their 33rd league title.

“Kane has a release clause until the end of January. We assume that he will definitely fulfill his contract until 2027,” Hoeneß told BILD.

He also noted that both the club and Kane are willing to consider extending the deal beyond its current duration.

“If it were up to us – and I’ve heard he wants it too – he will extend. His family feels comfortable,” Hoeneß added.

Kane, who arrived from Tottenham Hotspur, has rapidly become a key figure in Bayern’s long-term plans.
