UEFA has confirmed that Luis Díaz’s initial three-match Champions League suspension has been reduced to two games following Bayern Munich’s appeal.

Díaz was shown a red card for a harsh challenge on Hakimi Achraf during the UCL clash between Bayern Munich and PSG, with the Colombian forward sent off for the foul.

According to the AB Decision, Bayern’s appeal “is upheld,” leading to a revision of the disciplinary ruling issued on 19 November 2025.

The updated sanction states:

“To suspend FC Bayern München player, player Diaz Marulanda Luis Fernando, for a total of two (2) UEFA club competition matches for which he would be otherwise eligible, for serious rough play.”
