Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has risen to become the club’s all-time fourth-highest scoring foreign player after netting in a 3-0 triumph over Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
Osimhen capped the victory with Galatasaray’s third goal in the 73rd minute, following Barış Alper Yılmaz’s opener in the 19th minute and Yunus Akgün’s strike that doubled the lead for the hosts.
The Nigerian international’s goal brought his total for Galatasaray to 52, surpassing former striker Bafétimbi Gomis, who had scored 51 goals for the club.
Osimhen now ranks fourth among Galatasaray’s highest-scoring foreign players, trailing Mauro Icardi (73 goals), Gheorghe Hagi (72 goals), and Milan Baros (61 goals).
