Antoine Semenyo was named the February Player of the Month in the Premier League after an outstanding run of form for Manchester City F.C.. The Ghana international scored three goals and provided one assist in five league matches during the month.
The forward, who joined City from AFC Bournemouth in the January transfer window, made an immediate impact by scoring against Tottenham Hotspur F.C., Fulham F.C., and Leeds United F.C. during February.
Reacting to the award, Semenyo said: “This is a brilliant moment for me. To win the Premier League Player of the Month award so soon after joining City is something I’ll never forget.”
His performances helped Manchester City remain unbeaten in several league matches during the period and strengthened their attacking options as the season enters a crucial stage.
Semenyo beat several players to the award, including Virgil van Dijk, Benjamin Šeško, Viktor Gyökeres, Dango Ouattara and teammate Nico O’Reilly
