[VIDEO] ‘My kids and I have been evicted from our home’ — pastor’s wife alleges eviction, seeks urgent help in Port Harcourt
The wife of Emmanuel Azaka, general overseer of Overcomers Christian Center International, Eunice, has alleged that she has been denied access to her matrimonial home.
In a video that has gone viral, she claimed that she and her three children have been displaced from their residence for nearly a month.
Eunice alleged that they have been physically prevented from entering the house, while their personal belongings remain locked inside.
She further stated that her phone was confiscated, and that her movements and social media activities are being closely monitored. According to her, efforts to seek help from religious leaders, neighbours, and friends have not yielded any results.
Describing her situation as dire, Eunice said she and her children are currently without shelter and appealed for immediate assistance from Nigerians and human rights groups.
“My name is Eunice Azaka, I reside in Port Harcourt and right now I have been restricted from entering my matrimonial home with my three children for about a month now. We have been displaced, my phone has been seized and my social media and movements are being monitored,” she said.
“I have called on some superiors to help, some leaders, my neighbors, my friends all to no avail. We are homeless because our things are still in the house. Please we need help from well meaning Nigerians and human rights activists. This is urgent, please come to our aid and God will bless you.”
