TRENDING VIDEO: Mixed reactions as taxi driver blasts APC supporters over backing Tinubu amid hardship
Public outrage has followed a viral video showing a driver in Ogun State calling some women “shameless elders” for backing President Tinubu and Senator Yayi amid soaring inflation, high food prices, and naira struggles after 2023 reforms. He shouts that God will punish them and their children will pay for supporting the party for just N1,000.
Posted early Monday, the clip drew praise for voicing ordinary Nigerians’ pain, as well as criticism over political choices amid rising tensions ahead of the 2027 elections.

His words in part:
“God will punish all of you. You people are very shameless. The same government that is suffering and punishing us, and you people are wearing APC clothes to campaign for Tinubu just because of your N1000. To think you people are our elders and you are behaving so badly. Your children will pay the price for your stupidity.”
