Big Brother Naija star Beauty Tukura has assured fans that reality TV personality Ilebaye Odiniya is now safe following a worrying social media livestream that triggered widespread alarm.

Earlier on Saturday, Ilebaye caused panic online after going live on Instagram in an emotional state, where she was seen crying and pleading for help. The BBNaija All Stars winner also appeared with visible swelling on her face, prompting fears that she may have been assaulted.

In the viral clip, Ilebaye repeatedly called for help while attempting to leave the location she appeared to be in.

“Please come and help me,” she cried during the livestream. She was also heard saying, “Come and open the door; I want to be going.”

As concern grew online, fellow BBNaija All Star housemate Beauty Tukura went on X to request urgent assistance in locating Ilebaye after she reportedly lost contact with her, stating she was last known to be in Abuja.

“Please who can track a number? Ilebaye isn’t reachable anymore. She was about to send her location. Please, who can help? She said she’s in Abuja,” Beauty wrote.

Hours later, Beauty returned with an update confirming that Ilebaye was no longer in danger.

According to her, the reality star is safe and will share her account of the incident when she is ready.

“Ilebaye is no longer in harm’s way. She is fine and will tell her story in her time,” Beauty stated.
