Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has left the African Democratic Congress (ADC), accusing the party of manipulating its recently held primaries to benefit former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and those aligned with him.

In a statement released on Monday, Lawal characterized the exercise as “massively rigged,” alleging that the process was deliberately tilted to secure the emergence of Atiku and his associates.
