Benfica midfielder Christy Ucheibe and Al-Ittihad striker Francisca Ordega have joined the Super Falcons camp in Ikenne, Ogun State, as preparations intensify for Nigeria’s two international friendly matches against Senegal.

The pair arrived on Wednesday morning together with Glory Ogbonna, Blessing Nkor, Comfort Erhabor and Sikiratu Isah, adding to the squad ahead of the fixtures scheduled for Friday and Monday.

Team media officer Mary Akinsola disclosed that eight players reported to camp on Tuesday evening.

They are “Joy Omewa, Tosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Ilivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi, Anderline Mgbechi, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and Omorinsola Babajide.”

They linked up with the first set of arrivals — “Shukurat Oladipo, Kafayat Shittu and six-time CAF Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala” — increasing the number of players in camp to 17.

Both friendly matches against Senegal will take place at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.

The games are part of the Super Falcons’ build-up to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to be staged in Morocco in July.

Additional players and team officials are expected to arrive in camp in the coming days as Nigeria continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the important encounters with the Senegalese team.

The Super Falcons will be targeting an unprecedented 11th WAFCON crown in Morocco while also seeking qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
