Popular Nigerian Fuji singer, Remi Aluko, has opened up about losing his vision.
He made the revelation during a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV.
Speaking on the cause of his condition, the singer said he has been battling glaucoma for several years.
Giving an update on the state of his eyes, Remi Aluko, who had earlier undergone eye surgery, noted that his vision has worsened significantly, adding that there’s no difference between him and a blind person.
“I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down.
“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed,” he said.
