The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates can now print their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) original result slips, with access becoming available within two hours of the announcement.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.

According to the board, the original result slip contains candidates’ photographs, national ranking and other security features required for post-UTME screening and admission processing by tertiary institutions.

“The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip will be available for printing within the next two hours today, Wednesday, 17th June, 2026,” the statement read.

It added, “The Original Result Slip contains the candidate’s photograph, national ranking, and other security features. It is part of the official document required for post-UTME processing and consideration by tertiary institutions.

“Candidates can conveniently print their Original Result Slip from any internet-enabled device, whether at home, in the office, or at accredited business centres.”

JAMB advised candidates to verify all information on the printed document and retain copies for future admission-related purposes.

The board noted that the main 2026 UTME was conducted in April, while a mop-up examination took place on June 13 for candidates affected by technical or biometric challenges during the initial exercise.

Results of the mop-up examination were released on June 16.

The delay in making the original result slips available was attributed to the completion of foreign-based examinations and the mop-up exercise.

JAMB had earlier appealed for patience on May 19 while concluding the outstanding processes.

With the release of the printable slips, candidates can now proceed with applications and admission processes for the 2026/2027 academic session, as many institutions have already commenced or are preparing to begin post-UTME registrations.
