Nigerian actress Nancy Isime has revealed that she does not discuss her income with her partner and equally does not expect him to disclose his earnings to her.

Speaking on the Thanks For Coming podcast, the Blood Sisters star said financial matters are not a topic of discussion in her relationships.

She stressed the importance of maintaining privacy and personal boundaries, noting that she does not believe couples are obligated to share details of their finances with each other.

“I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. Tell a man how much I earn, never, for what,” she said

“And I don’t want him to discuss his with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning.”

On phone access, Isime said she has no objection to her partner going through her phone, but she would never ask to check his.

“I have no problem with him going through my phone but for what,” she said.

“I would never ask to check my man’s phone.”

The 34-year-old Nollywood star had in 2024 revealed that she has never daydreamed about getting married.

She said her focus has always been on building a career and achieving financial independence, rather than walking down the aisle.

“You know when young girls used to sit down and daydream about getting married, I never did. I used to daydream about working and making my own money and being independent,” she said.

“I fear that I might not even have my dream wedding because what is a dream wedding? Even if I get married, it would just be a wedding that we both agree on at the same time… If it is a big wedding, if we feel it, it’s fine. If it is a small wedding, whatever we feel.”
