Controversial singer Portable and Nollywood actor Charles Okocha are set to reignite their long-running feud in a celebrity boxing rematch scheduled for July 31.

The bout, tagged ‘Unfinished Business’, will take place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island.

Announcing the fight, organisers said, “Here comes the chaos! Africa, the stage is set. Now we settle the score. Portable, Charles Okocha, Agbaje, Musa. Four fighters, one ring, no more talk. July 31st.”

The much-anticipated rematch comes three years after their first clash in the ring, where Portable emerged victorious.

The feud between the two dates back to 2023, when Portable accused Okocha of defrauding him.

In November that year, the singer alleged that the actor failed to pay him N20 million following an endorsement deal.

Responding to the accusation, Okocha claimed Portable had initially contacted him in search of “friendship”. He added that he later invited the singer to an event because he “wanted to help a brother”.

According to Okocha, Portable made no meaningful contribution at the event, and no formal agreement was signed. He also said he still transferred “a whopping N5 million” to the singer afterwards.

Their online exchange eventually escalated, prompting both men to settle their dispute inside the boxing ring.

The rematch announcement comes months after Portable suffered defeat against streamer Carter Efe in another celebrity boxing contest.
