The Bayelsa State Police Command has called on residents to assist in tracing the parents or guardians of four children rescued from different locations across the state.
In a statement released on Saturday, the command said the children were found in Ekeremor and Yenagoa Local Government Areas.
The children were identified as 12-year-old Affiong Etim, 12-year-old Stephen Ibrahim, 13-year-old Divine Okon, and six-year-old Majesty Edolor.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Musa Mohammed, appealed to members of the public with relevant information to help reunite the children with their families.
“By this announcement, the Police Command solicits the co-operation of members of the public, who may have useful information about their parents or guardians, to contact the Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Police Command, on GSM No. 07032702984 or O/C Gender 07039716585, please,” the statement read.
